Has anyone installed......

The GMPP LS9 supercharger?

I remember there was a lot of brewhaha when this was released, but I can't recall seeing any build threads where someone actually installed one.

Anyone have any pics of the LS9 supercharger installed in their Camaro LS3/L99? What kind of dyno numbers did you see? how difficult was the install?

The GMPP website has them here for $7500 in case anyone is wondering.

If I remember correct, there were to many additional parts that were needed to comeplete the build, thus making it unrealistic to install. I think it was priced over $10k for the supercharger and aditional parts.

I asked a guy at dyno speed racing about installing the cadilac CTS-v on a l99 and he said the same thing. it will fit, but you have to have all the parts + the entire belt system/ AC compresser and some more stuff... so it would be like 10 grand...

The real question is "Why would anyone install the GMPP supercharger?"

Magnacharger or Whipple kits are more realistic. They come with everything you need and they are priced better.
