ACDelco PF63E due to larger volume and filtering surface area. It does have the proper check valve in it too. As for oil... clean and change more often that one normally would. Depending on your clearances, you'll likely need something heavier like 15 or 20W. "They" say use higher zinc content.

There's a lot of 63s but not so much of the 63E.

The PF63F is "fleet-pack", meaning GM/AC-Delco ships 12 PF63E's in a case of 12 (what we did), with thin cardboard between them (NOT in retail/individual boxes to display on a shelf, etc.).

For a built high performance motor that you really want to keep track of, we offer a billet reusable filter that you can easily take down and inspected whenever needed to get a good read on the health of your combination. Sure beats cutting open canister filters!

I have seen these on the website. debating getting one. My thoughts on cleaning it is, w/o an ultrasonic bath, are you truly able to get it fully clean?

I saw a similar item, and have always been curious of the longevity as well as how to clean it. Maybe dawn dish soap.

They clean with brake clean, carb clean, or dish soap. Good clean, compressed air, and ready to go for the next round.

No - and that's not really the point of a reusable filter. The reusable filter gives you the ability to easily have a look "inside" the engine - you can get a good idea if you're producing any metal, what type, and what sort of volume, and all of those can be very important indicators for the health of the combination.
