GMPP has earned its name back. It has been a long time since we've seen high-performance associated with that name.

I'm fairly certain that Edelbrock is a better value, at least with these initial details. It'd be some nice eye candy under hood, but I hope there's going to be more substaintial details as we learn more about this kit.

...correct?
Its a observation..The GM unit, the Techo unit,SMS unit ,or the Edlebrock. They all are built with front inlet and dual IC cores , with restrictive inlets. Sorry I dont have their release dates in order. Just was the first time I saw the GM unit. No pun intended towards GM.

Not sure I agree as this is nothing more than the actual unit being sold. This is not complete kit, no tuning option, no CARB certs, etc.

GMPP has a part available for $7.5K...add in another $1K plus to hope to finish it, get some tuning (more expenses!) and be non-compliant with CARB...oh yeah, kiss your GM powertrain warranty bye-bye too.

I not pointing fingers at anyone here but this is not the answer for a full on warrantied supercharged Camaro...simply an avenue, of which there are many, to supercharge your LS3 Camaro.

If and when (which I don't see happening!) GM decides to provide a full "TURN KEY KIT", it's nothing more than a new option...nothing more and not even a complete one at that!

You can already order it from Chevy Parts plus for $6,500. They added it today apparently.

That's what I was referring to. I found the Edelbrock kit (don't have the link handy) on a site for $6500. Advertised as complete, all brackets, lines and hardware for installation (and I think a tuner is shown in the product picture???).
I'm with you Legend, this GMPP unit sounds like it will end up costing the end user much more than they'd expect.
