I agree 1,000%

I find myself drawn to this thread. Today is 1 month of having a VIN....(seen it on Valentine's morning, ah, the memories!) and I to can't wait to hear what the hold up is, and when they will ship....I look at this thread a couple times a day!

I am shocked that GM hasn't released any info to this board. Not even a "don't worry guys, minor issue, we want your cars to be perfect..." Any communication would be much appreciated. I really think something is ****ed up that may not be an easy fix.

When you think about it, months and months of testing in all sorts of weather, and lots of money were spent to figure out the right calibration for the car...if something has thrown that calibration off, it may not be so simple as changing that one thing. And if it's a part that's been designed for the car specifically, redesigning it, finding a supplier, swapping out the parts from old cars could take a while.

I believe Fbodfather has stated several times and several journalist, that it is a minor issue. The car will be fine....hang in there guys and it will excede your expectations...It will be worth the wait.

Patiently waiting,

Ordered 11/12/2011
Status 3000 since 1/31

I simply don't mind the wait. Ordered my first Camaro in 1973, a Z28 and all Camaro plants went on strike for several months. Ended up with a Nova SS. So, after 39 years and finally a Z worthy of utmost respect and anticipation, a few more months is a cake-walk.

You can bet the Camaro Marketing team is monitoring this site. They know our pain.
Maybe they'll provide a little Oxycodone on delivery.

I'm sorry but I'm not going to to delete the thread or the comments simply because you don't like them. There's nothign disrespectful in any of the latest ones I've read. (granted, I haven't read every post in here).

Hey here's an idea if any of the Camaro team are still surfing this thread.........how about if someone who does the last once-over in QC slips a nice new ZL1 Hat and Golf shirt in a nice ZL1 duffel bag, and throws all that in the trunk.

Wouldn't that be a nice little token for all you dudes waiting so patiently lol.

Although it will cost a few more bucks, I would do that if I were in charge with a formal Thank You letter personally addressed to the buyer. Even though they originally did say mid-March, might go a long way with the first group of owners, as it looks like it will still be a few more weeks as we all know now :-(

In Ontario huh, and a fellow Taurus and American Muscle lover... So I have to ask, can I get a spin when you get it. I'll even let you try out my "underpowered" Boss. I may be a Ford guy first and foremost but I'm dying to see what the ZL1 is like personally.
