The dealer that originated the order has the best info,even though anybody with globalconnect can check it with a vehicle inquiry.But, the code seen at another dealer may not be accurate.

Just called.....they said it's in production as we speak and my TPW was LAST WEEK. They don't have clue sometimes......they said to call back in 2-3 weeks. WHATEVER....like I am going to wait that long, bunch of crazies!

Hey, I called that number and the guy at GM put me on hold for a few minutes and came back and said my car was being "built as we speak". He was a little perplexed about why I had to call him to get info and not the dealership. My dealership acts like they've never heard of the event codes. Anyway, that number works pretty well, but the guy said he couldn't get me the VIN#. Makes me wonder if they're just blowing smoke...

I don't know what event code I am at but I called and they said its supposed to be built during the week of May 11th... gmac said they would give me a free 10 day extension on my current lease from the 18th to the 28th.... otherwise i have to pay for another month on my POS saturn... what do you think the odds of it arriving before the 28th are? I'm not sure if it matters but I ordered a rjt 1LT...

I think the salemen don't know about the dealer codes but the order guy at the dealership does.

it's all smoke! smoke from all directions! dealers blowing smoke..........1866 is blowing smoke...........reality is that they are ALL built and being delivered as we speak!

woohoo so i read this hoping to god your luck would run off of me and it did i called 1-866 # and spoke to a girl with a souther accent names Catherine <-Angel, and she said my car was built today and i was at 3300 yesterday, she said she couldn't give me my vin # only my dealer can but to give them a call and i should get it. WOooohooooo

I called..........on hold.........on hold....I was expecting nothing, but Brandon said my cars TPW is May 25th. That is something I did not know, so it was worth the call!!!
