My Camaro has been Violated...
So my wife and I wake up Friday morning to a pair of cops knocking on our door. I answer the door only to find out that they were called out because a neighbor noticed my car sitting on BLOCKS... I have never felt so violated in my life... Thankfully insurance is taking care of everything but what a painful experience to wake up to this sight. According to management at our apartment complex this is the first time in 7 years anything like this has happened, and it had to be me...

I've had a car stolen, so I know what you mean by violated. at least you can get some replica zl1 rims now, to go with your front end. lol

Ahh, this makes me sick to my stomach. Good luck with getting this all wrapped up quick. Hopefully they didn't damage anything while ripping you off.

Sorry to see that. Hopefully no more damage from the blocks the scumbags used.

No way I could handle parking my car in an apartment complex. Would be a nervous wreck every day. Hope everything works out with it. Seeing it sitting on that cement block makes me want to cry.

Sorry to hear about that man. Hopefully insurance gets this taken care of immediately. I'd invest in a car alarm/wheel locks if you haven't already. When you upgrade rims they'll be back especially in a apartment complex.

Sorry to see this. Hope there's no other damage. Are those locking lug nuts I see in the second pic?

I'm assuming you didn't/don't have wheel locks?

Dang. Did you have locking lugs? But based on the picture it looks like you have the nicest car in the parking lot so that is most likely why you were "the chosen one". (Trying to lighten up the situation based on your avatar )

Dude ! That sucks, luckily it was just your wheels and nothing worse. Good luck replacing the wheels.

1. Yes they are gorilla spline locking lugs, but the key isn't as unique as the acorn style lugs from what I understand, I may be wrong.
2. The blocks tore up my side moldings where the blocks were and the shop is attempting to push ZL1 side moldings for me (we shall see). 3. That morning we purchased a garage at the complex!!! 4. Nobody saw anything until I believe 5-5:30ish in the morning. 5. 22" Gunmetal Nurburgrings, wouldn't be difficult to spot with a little curb rash on 2 of them but I could never prove they are mine since there are no etchings or markings that we put on the wheels.
