I wonder if I have the crap speakers in my system too, the stereo is the worst one I have ever heard on a stock system and it is the "upgraded" BA system too!!

I think an easy way to check would be to look at the bottom of the 6x9 and look to see if you have two sets of wires coming off your speaker terminal. If I'm not mistaken, there should be two bare braided copper wires and the pair of black wires that are routed up to the tweeter on the 6x9.

Look on the bottom of the speakers and tell us if MOLDED in the plastic frame they say BOSTON on them. I do not mean a sticker, actually MOLDED in the frame. My rears both have Boston molded or stamped in the frames.
