Looks like a classis example of getting behind on the steering and not able to recover in time. We all have done it once or twice. Shit happens!

It really doesn't matter who it was, he didn't hit that corner that hard and for whatever reason he lost it. His attempt at recover was poor ( obviously)

Didn't read the thread eh?
At that time I thought it was a bone stock Z/28. Now my eyes are wide open. |

Clearly a case of running out of talent. When you take a very heavy car and max up the handling and grip, you're creating a car with sudden breakaway. There will be more like this.

I saw your post. But I watched the video so knew it held no merit.

You have two choices, stay in it, and countersteer (right) and go into the infield, or brake and turn left quickly and loop it. Method 2 is OK for AutoX or when you're alone on a track, but is not acceptable when other cars on the track. Because you often end up backwards or sideways on the course. The trick is to get as close to that "certain point" without going over it.

Wow, there sure are a lot of expert drivers in here. I am surprised Nascar, F1 or Tudor doesn't recruit from the ranks of this thread.
The amount of fail in this thread is unreal... T.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same. Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different. I can't wait for my next Track fix. That's why this thread is still separate from the Z/28 section.

Having gone there for almost 20 years straight as a spectator I will give my 2cents on what happened , That turn is not part of the real track, It is a temporary set up , and a bad one it looks like to me . If you look at the Video as he turns right , on the main course he loses it right after the fresh asphalt , That corner is made to turn left after going down one of the fastest stretches on the track , Why they dont race the whole track i dont know , maybe they are trying to keep the speeds down because when doing it ,you lose your 2 fastest part of the 4.2 mile road course ? I had no ideal about this race I am a idiot , I am pissed that I missed this race .Next year I wont
