to the person who said the "shark fin" is the antenna. the "shark fin" is the onstar the antenna is in the rear glass.
as far as the paint being baked. that doesnt mean the paint is cured it simply means the top coat has been hardened. the paint will still cure from the inside out. this is why you are not to wax or cover or whatever for a few months. |

i wouldnt have done it for awhile, but im sure your car didnt come off the line and come straight to you. im betting it sat somewhere for a bit of time perhaps in the hot sun somewhere. i wouldnt sweat it.
also if it were in the sun outside that also helps the curring process. the purpose of baking a car after paint is to get it out the door quicker. |

factory paint does not need to wait 3 months for curing.
the instructions are regarding new paint on the car after the factory delivery. |

No, there are some specialty Detail shops that have this. It is similar to wax, but is not a "flake" application. You know, wax the car, wait for the haze, remove the haze, buff.
This stuff is applied, and kinda baked in. I am not sure how heat is used though. Then it is suppose to last about 5 years. it isn't a permanent thing.
