What is this sprung and unsprung weight you talk about Chris?
Spin a truck wheel, then spin a bicycle wheel... it takes a lot more effort (hp)to spin the truck wheel.

Sprung weight is everything cushioned by the suspension... unsprung is everything else, tires wheels rotors etc.

But if the wheels weigh relatively the same I don't see 20 hp or am I looking at it wrong.

They don't (usually) weigh the same... A 22" wheel/tire will outweigh a 20" with same width & diameter. The larger wheel also puts the weight more toward the O.D. of the wheel making it that much harder to spin up.

You also have flex issues with lo-pro tires, ever notice how a hi profile dragster slick wrinkles @ acceleration? That's the problem PQ has now... stiff short sidewalls, no flex, poor acceleration traction.

OK I kinda see your point, but I bet the ole Butt Dyno goes way up. I did notice he has a lot of torque and I am assuming alot of low end torque and torque you can feel. That set you back in the seat feeling can't be matched by a dyno number.

My car is on the edge of breaking traction when I get on it I can only imagine what Randy's car is like with his added power.

Interesting side not I did ride in an AWD twin turbo ricer car the other day. VERY fast, actually kinda scary, then in my nephews 850 rwhp Mustang, real scary and then drove mine. The Ricer had great acceleration, was light weight but was just missing something, not knocking his car to each his own, just missing something. The Mustang spun in all the gears, too much HP so it was no fun, looked cool but what good was it. My car was more fun to drive, sounded better than either of them and just had that " IT" factor.

I definitely think our 5th Gens are the baddest, coolest, slickest things around. but maybe I am biased. NAhh they are just bad assed.

Well, like the Godfather said, "Keep your freinds close, and keep your enemies closer".

Those high powered AWD cars are pretty bad ass.
