Rear brake conversion?

Hello guys, just seeing if i could get some input on a drag pack set up for my 13 zl-1. I know the smallest we can fit on the rear without a conversion is 17", is there going to be a huge difference between 17 and 15" wheels? just trying to see if i can get away without spending an extra 1500 for a conversion kit. car currently makes 600 rwhp and i need to dead hook in the street. Thank you in advance for any info you veterans can give!!

A 17x10.5 or 17x11 wheel with a 315/45/17 drag radial should work perfectly.

I believe for 17" wheels you have to use the weld or bogart wheel made for the camaro with special lower control arms for clearance.

Go with a C5 z06 rear wheel or a front C6 Z06 wheel. if its just a track pack your looking for.

I did not know you needed to to change out the lca for the welds and bogarts, i thought that was mainly for 16" v6 brakes or the race star wheels? Anyone have more info on this?

I have 17" bogarts and didn't need to change, tie back or adjust anything.
