Martinsville, VA Cars, Coffee, Pit Stop Challenge, Dyno Pulls

Martinsville Motorsports Madness -- Charities

Madness is a not for profit community event. Our goal is to showcase all that is best in Martinsville and our motorsports community. Everyone knows that car-guys care. At the end of the day, we want to show how much we care.
Grace Network – We are collecting canned foods for distribution to those in need by the Grace Network. http://gracenetworkmhc.org/
Wounded Warriors – Need we say more? Coffee and rolls will be served at no charge, but we will gratefully accept donations for our wounded warriors. Cold pop and water will be available at the campus at a cost of $1.00. Profits from the sale of cold drinks will be donated to the Wounded Warriors Fund.

Fees for the cars and coffee, car show and dyno will be used to cover the cost of hosting the event. Surplus funds will be distributed equally to the Grace Network and Wounded Warrior Foundation.

8:00 to 11:00

Cars and Coffee at the Philpott Dam – The views are magnificent and so is the drive up to the dam. If there is a more scenic location to hold a cars and coffee, we haven’t found it. You’ll love your drive to gather together for the cars and coffee and the police escorted parade back to the Patrick Henry College of Racing Campus.
As guests of the Army Corp of Engineers, we ask that you respect the posted speed limits.

On Campus Camaraderie is Open to the Public Free of Charge

At the campus you’ll be in car-guy-heaven. Car-guy is a gender neutral term. If we have to explain it further, then you aren’t one. The car show, Racing College and Arrington are all here. So are the car-guys that brought their cars, that came to see cars, that work on cars during the day and relax in the evenings and weekends by working on cars. As cool as the cars are car events are all about the people.

To learn more about the Martinsville community the Martinsville Henry County Chamber of Commerce http://www.martinsville.com/ , New College Institute http://www.newcollegeinstitute.org/ and the Martinsville Virginia Economic Development Corporation http://www.yesmartinsville.com/ will be on campus.

We will have a DJ to entertain you. Cold drinks will be available at a cost of $1 per bottle or can. Our event food sponsors have provided coupons for discounts at nearby restaurants. This is a family event. There is no alcohol allowed on campus.

These are power number pulls – no tuning

The dyno technicians will perform the runs
One or two power pulls are all it takes
A dyno waiver is required – feel free to read it but it boils down to if it breaks don’t blame us
