new guy

hey guys im a member over at camaro forums and happened to stumble across this nifty forum the other day. Im a college students attending Rutgers University over here in New Jersey. I own a 1978 z28 camaro, she has a manual transmission with a rebuilt 350, headers and true duel exhaust. She has a pretty damn decent interior and exterior but the underbody is a different story all together (rust bucket). I hope to keep her and fix her up but college bills are takin up my most of my money for now so hopefully when i graduate i can make her look like she just came out of the factory again. Hope to get some solid advice out of you guys see ya around

Very nice looking car. Are the rear frame rails in good shape? From the pictures you would never know the floor pans are bad. They must salt the roads in the snowey weather. Replacing floor pans are not that difficult but the frame rails can be kind of a pain, but it can be done. Looking at your car it is definatly worthy of the time.
