Planning to head down Wednesday, but if there is any delay we will hook up with the group on Thursday.

Are you kidding me?? Driving it there !! 420 miles each way. That's half the fun of it.

Aren't you going to drive it back to Florida after the fest or does it go back to Calif. for more tweaking?
California, just because of time. Have to fly back to FL. SST will be coming back to Florida shortly thereafter. There are ALWAYS tweaks...

Sorry N. Wanted to take the NRE name off the top since they are not a vendor on here. Peak power on this motor is around 6700. Peak TQ seems to average around 5000 under higher boost.

Here is a chart with the boost set at lowest pressure (base - 9 psi) This give me a range of 9 - 34 psi prior to installing the AMS1000. Also note the very conservative A/F ratios on this run.

Here is a snippet set at a higher boost pressure (28 psi). This was cutoff at 6000 rpm to protect the innocent... the secondary injector profile needed to be bumped - was starting to lean out. The rest I'll let NRE post on their media first and have at the Fest.

Yeah and it keeps climbing to peak rpm... and there's 10 psi of headroom to go

Really dumb question, but what are you putting on this creature for tires?? I'm just thinking that your basic off the rack stuff comes up a little short when faced with 1500+ hp of tire shredding horsepower.

For the Fest using these 345/18 MT DR's. These are compared to my wife's 235's. Not optimal but two of these together is 28" of tread.

We want to run the SST just the way it is driven on the street.

That's the only way to fly.. (as driven).

swapping tires, uncorking headers.. etc. is outdated.

A "true street car" just heads out the gate once he is defeated at the track.. Well, after you pick up the Girl, and then head out the gate.

It is going to be nice meeting you in person at the fest and watching you have fun with the SST.

So Awesome Bruce. It is going to be an honor to finally meet you and gawk at the SST. I have 3 car shows prior to the fest... so just enough to keep me from going insane.

see you soon son!
