Footwell Lighting Question

Is it really worth it?
And are they on all the time?
I want to add a unique touch to my car, and my eagle talon footwells light up when i open the door and i really like it. I'm getting a Rally Yellow 2SS RS and im looking through my performance catalog and it sayd and i quote " ...our footwell lighting kit delivers customizable, coloured ambient lighting..." do does this mean i can change it when ever i want? How would that be possible?

I need help as i am ordering my parts tommorow. Thanks

i think this ambient lighting is going to be a cheap after market add. I am not geting the 2SS due to the huge aftermarket parts program that has to be coming out for the camaro

The ambient lighting in the Camaro looks nice already, but I too am thinking about adding more. I'm a big fan of LED lighting, especially since you can get the 3-LED lighting that gives you a virtually unlimited # of colors you can dial-in to at any time.

I'd say GET the ambient lighting option that comes with the Camaro and if you want more, buy more.

And you think that there's going to be aftermarket support for heated leather bucket seats, steering wheel controls, bluetooth integrated OEM stereo, 4 pack console gauges, heated outside mirrors, and homelink....

There's no way the aftermarket can match everything you get in the 2SS for the same or less price.

maybe not for all of it. But I think there is going to be something really awesome that comes out aftermarket that everybody is going to want. Thats why I am holding off on going to crazy. Now is it tru you get leather but its only the front seats?

but i do agree with getting what you want and getting it now, because if this camaro takes off and due to inflation this car next year is going to cost 3-5k more guarenteed. I have an 07 Silverado LT dad just bought a 2009 LT, mine is a loaded LT his is more of bare bones LT and his cost 3 more than mine.

No, leather will be on ALL seats for the 2LT/2SS. And yes, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what the aftermarket will offer for the Camaro

it would be stupid to have leather front, and cloth rear. they would never do that. all four seats will be leather
