Generation 5 Camaro Racing Cold Air Intake FS!!!

I just purchased a Vararam intake and decided to put this G5CR intake on the market. It is powdercoated IOM orange and is in excellent condition. There aren't any scratches or scuffs on the finish. I used this intake for 5,000 miles and it made my car breath a lot easier, I just decided to sell it because I'm going a different route with my car. The filter is way bigger than Roto-fab and the competition, I believe other companies use 6 inch filters while G5CR uses 9 inch filters. I took this info right off the G5CR website:

Features:
Will not Trigger Check Engine light like the "other guys"
Easy install (5-10 minutes)
100% US Made (no chinese plastic junk here)
Super Durable Powder Coated finish in most factory Colors
Largest Intake Tube and Filter in the industry (no little 6" long filters like the "other guys"- G5CR uses 9" filters)
100,000 Mile Washable Filter Made by S&B - the world leader in filtration technology
Does Not Void Warranty like "the other guys"
Aerospace 4 ply silicone couplers with stainless steel clamps
Billet Aluminum Mass Airflow Sensor Housing 100% CNC machined for accurate air metering

I'm asking $220 shipped to your door. The intake goes for $370 new.... Reasonable offers are welcome.

These cold air intakes don't come with heat shields. They sell them seperately but since the intake is all aluminum, they dissipate heat rapidly.

No baffle??? Makin things worse man. This is, essentially, a hot-air intake.

Doesn't matter what the tube is made of, the air coming into the filter is still hot- being drawn straight from the engine compartment, even nullifying any cool air offered by the factory snorkel.

Not tryin to kill your thread here, just hate for anyone to get a raw deal. Without the baffle, I'd reduce cost a bit.

Not necessarily, the stock air box has massive air restrictions. What happens when you suck hot air rapidly? What happens when you are out in the hot sun and point a room temperature fan at yourself? Air that is in rapid circulation becomes cool. Do you really think that just because there is a heat shield it prevents hot air from entering the throttle body. The most effective heatshield would be a heat box from Cold Air Inductions or ADM and those intakes are $500.

I do not believe CAI's intake is $500, $400 shipped from these forums new.

I'm selling my cold air intake, I'd appreciate it if other members would stop posting off topic statements. I only mentioned CAI and ADM to prove a point. Respect my listing as this is the "For Sale" section not the regular forum thread, so keep that in mind as I am trying to sell my intake. I don't need casual browsers to trash on the intake. It is an awesome Cold air intake!

How do they claim that it doesn't void the warranty, what makes this CAI different?
Do these not require a tune?

I'm not quite sure how it doesn't void the warranty but I ran it without a tune and it ran great, and when I installed the Diablo tune, it further improved power and torque .

Not really offtopic. This post just seems full of slight misinformation. (or questionable claims anyway) Of course people are going to ask for clarification.

Not saying that you're being dishonest, but the site you took the info from seems to be overselling the product.
