AAC fog halo installation
Good evening Camaro family
I am pondering upon doing the halo fog light mod on my Camaro. I have seen a video from AAC on how to do the install from taking the light out and how to get the halo ring in there and seal it up. What I have not seen is where and how to wire it. Does anybody know what the next steps are? How do you connect the halo fog in order to get power to it? What would I have to do in order to make the fog halo come on with my headlight halos? |

well the easiest solution would be just tap your headlight halo wires, the "correct" way of doing it is probably wiring it the exact same as you headlight wires
I did my fogs and headlight halos at the same time so I went the route of just wiring them the same way at the same time, had I done it at different times I probably would've just tapped the headlight halos since I don't see anything wrong with doing that and I'm lazy :-P |

Thanks guys. I wish I could do both at the same time, but I do not have the skills to pull off the headlight install. I know I can have a shop here in Tulsa easily do the DRL halo install with ease and cheap too.

okay I miss-read your post a little, if you're doing dual color halos heres a simple diagram that I used
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...0&postcount=24 If you want to control the power of the halos you need to hook it up to a switch, I just connect the power of my halos to the side markers so they come on whenever my parking lights are on, if it's just a single color then you just need to find any good ground and you're good to go |
