There should have been a tag on the original keys. They can order a new one....about $350

Wow, that's quite a price jump. A replacement key for my 2011 was only $75.

you can also have the key cut and program it yourself, it is really easy to program it. Only thing is the key you have lost will still be able to operate the car, so if someone finds it they will be able to use the car.

that I'm not worried about as I never left the house - it's here under a table or something - it'll show up...any links on how to program it?

this is the procedure that you can do it yourself(method 1):

1) stick old key into ignition and turn to "on" (it's the position before "start")
2) turn off and take out old key
3) quickly (like a few seconds) insert new key and turn to "on"

But the key you lost will still operate the car.

Method 2: If you go to the dealership and they program the car with the GM TECH II then they will erase the lost key.
