Subscribed. Not for sure on the final numbers but this car should be close to 700rwhp ish. Not sure bout torque either but should be very significant. It was 648 and 597 before this LSX install. I love this motor being specifically built with the 9 to 1 CR on a blown Maggie motor or any blown motor. Looking forward to owners assessment once he has a chance to post.

I think it should be around 700/700. I wasn't going completely for gains on this though. In addition to the extra kick in pants, this thing carries a warranty! I can't wait to get over and pick it up to see how she feels.

Awesome build yet again!
Can't wait until I feel comfortable enough to part away with my motor and have ADM do a new one for me

It does have forged internals right from GMPP.

Except the rods. To me, the rig's 9.? compression ratio would be more at home of a high hp set up, yet the use of stock type con rods lends itself to a milder build. It is a lot of motor for the $....just not quite how I would do it.

Why are the rods not forged, that makes no sense...

I'm guessing GM doesn't have a con rod better than the powdered metal LS3 version without going to the forged titanium LS7 rod. That rod would push the price way up. I'm sure they looked at it from a thousand different angles and the bean counters prevailed. Plus, if they did use the LS7 rods, you crazy guys would abuse it even more

Please excuse my ignorance but what is different with the LSX 376? Same discpalcement as the LS3. I only ask becasue I wonder if I could have built mine up differently.

6 bolt iron bow tie block, better priority oiling to the mains/rods, forged pistons L92 heads would be the big diferences.

Plus the CR is a 9:1 which is perfect for blown applications. If you pay attention the forged pistons are a key part of this motor as opposed to what comes in our LS3 and L99 motors. Historically the piston upper ring lands are what breaks in our LS motors when boosted too high and or with NOX. Has been happening since back in the LS-1 days.
