Rochester 2GV Carboretor Choke Thermostat
I have a 69 Camaro Project that I'm working on and no matter where I go or what ally I go down I can't for the life of me find the thermostat or spring for the choke.
I have a 2 barrel Rochester Dualjet 2GV carb sitting on a 327 motor and I'd like to keep it stock if at all possible. Otherwise I guess I'll have to convert it to electronic. |

Back in the days I used to get rid of the choke thermostat... and install a manual choke.... whether it was a two barrel or if I switched to a four barrel Quadrajet Carb.

Maybe try a local carburetor shops - they could have something just sitting around.
Calling them may not be as effective as walking in with your old part and starting the hunt.
