The data is there. Check out the developer site I linked in my OP.

Also - want to note that GM is now accepting app submissions I can post the link/info if you'd like.

So much for the firmware correcting the HUD issue of not displaying songs when channel changes or song changes. Worked perfectly after the update then yesterday did a 170 mike trip, on the return home it stopped displaying the songs again.

Thought i would add this as I don't see my top firmware version on your list

I recently had the dealer check for an update as I have issues with my unit, they told me there wasn't a more current one available.

I cant believe there is still no way we can update the sw ourselves. Why the F would gm want everyone to waste dealers time to do a stupid update??? Make NO sense.

Correct. You have to go to a dealer for an update.

That's probably the case as 2014's has updates not available to 2013's

Does the software version have anything to do with the PDIM recognizing and Indexing.....My iPhone takes anywhere from 5-12 minutes simply reading the USB?

Not sure what is reading there are no songs actually stored on my phone, I use I tunes match which are all streamed over the net from the cloud...

So I stopped using that method and brought a separate iPod that stays connected to USB all times.....many times it docent recognize it have to pull it out plug it back in, recognizes it about 70% of the time others won't even show its plugged in

Speaking to that GM has opened up MyLink API for developers - I hope that Waze is one of the first new apps.

Didn't know which MyLink thread this reply suited the best but settled on this one:

Not sure what to think of it.

Seems like a hack to play video (Similar to the hack to add igo nav to non nav units)

Also looks edited / green screened at times. (When hand is over image)

It's a green screen from what I can tell.

It definitely looks like that to me to which is why I added that. The rectangular cutout where the screen is looks off, the hand looks pixelated when over top of screen.
