Logic, where are in TN are you? Ive seen a Shelby like yours all the time around here.

5 star ratings arent that hard to come by with the old standards in place. I put more faith in the IIHS ratings than the governments because they do the offset crash.

Can you provide a link to where these 2010 Safety requirements are defined?

One of the reason why I like the 2010 Camaro is the safety...

I shall buy them all and drive into a brick wall with each at 150 MPH. We'll see who's the safest then.

HINT: It won't be me. :(

Murfreesboro. I rarely get to Clarksville, so I doubt it is mine you are seeing.

He sustained a few bruises and a sprained wrist (He broke the shifter handle off in his hand) and deployed the airbags but was able to open the door and get out of the car with no problem. There are not too many cars on the road today that could hit a wall at that speed and fare the same or better.

I sure would not want to be in a Corvette and have that happen.

Why not want me to post some Vids of the Vette t-boning the retaining wall at the drag strip, or them flipping etc?..They have excellent crumple zones

"A car blew its motor right before my run and aparently the track crew at the dragway didn't clean up the track properly. I might have hit a slick spot in the middle of third gear, and lost it. No injuries but the car is trashed. There may be some more vids that come in which I'll post, plus some pics of the extensive damage.

I feels like the car pulled hard right when I lost it. Please watch this vid and give me your impression of whether it looks like the right front wheel locked up/braked, causing the car to veer right"

Shouldn't all cars with a 5 star rating crumple pretty much the same (as in, the people inside are the most protected)?

Who cares about crash ratings.........did anyone see the 4 and 5 star small cars hit the 4 and 5 star midsize cars.........nothing left of the smaller one. Same will happen with a mustang, or whatever........hit an suv or pickup and the ratings go out the window, along with the driver.

Really strange. I don't know why it did that. Had to be a slick spot because it looked like after you lost control the car was able to bite pretty good and slow down. It could have been way worse. IMO

Corvettes and Ferrari's pretty much explode and fall apart, kinda like an INDY car. The car will fall to pieces, kind of absorbing most of the impact, but the shell that holds the driver is pretty safe. Don't believe me

Wasnt me, was another forum brother..engine blew on the run before him and he committed the sin of having TC and AH off..you can get some better runs in a Z with TC off and AH on..it really keeps you from getting all squirrely..he had it in Full Comp Mode..the Z was headed and cammed also..not that that had anything to do with it
