Well my Exhaust System w/Tips has arrived at the Parts Dept and I have an appointment to have them installed next Wednesday. Just the Tips on this system look so much better then the stock tips. Hopefully the Air Intake Kit will be here also by next wednesday so I can have both done at once. I will be posting pictures, both before and after.

Walt B.

Exhaust System (w/Tips) - Installed Price $1,049.00
Air Intake Kit - Installed Price $499.50

Total $1,548.50 plus tax

I also prefer to get things that are manufacturer made for my cars because I want to maintain my warranty, and again My Car and My Money

Did they include an installation price with your GMPP exhaust? Just wondering, because a local exhaust shop (actually Lee County Transmission here in Fort Myers) charged me $40.00 to install my GMPP exhaust. Its a real easy install.

I've heard from some guys that their dealerships wanted like $200.00 to do the installation which is highway robbery for what's involved.

sounds like a $759 pile of crap. gmpp parts are good for paper weights or throwing off the pier. they make a big splash.

I wouldn't say that. The GMPP exhaust looks great and gets rid of a lot of weight. The GMPP exhaust is also a very high quality. The GMPP exhaust tips are the best I've seen from any of the exhausts out there, and they look better than the Corsa tips I had on my 06 GTO.

Saying that, the regular version of the GMPP exhaust is pretty tame. I haven't heard it on a V6 Camaro, but I've heard it on an SS and it has a nice low tone to it (sounds a lot beter than stock, but its pretty queit).

I have the GMPP "off road" version on my SS. Its fairly aggressive and sounds good. I wouldn't want it any louder. When I get long tube and high flow cats, its going to be rea loud (maybe too loud for me).

For the rest of you guys
I'm wondering, do they make the "off road" version of the GMPP exhaust for the V6 Camaro? That might be the way to go for you V6 guys if its available.

Well I had my V-6 Exhaust System installed today at the dealership. The end result is Great as far as I am concerned. To Me the sound is alot better then the stock system and the Tips are so much better then the stock ones. Long day today, also did a program upgrade to the Infomation system software and this took forever, first the dealership had to download five upgrades to their system before they could do the upgrade on my cars system. I will be posting pictures tomorrow, but as far as I am concerned it was mony well spent ($1,133.13). I am still waiting for the Air Intake System to arrive and that will be installed as soon as it gets here.

To the folks that own this exhaust and have had it awhile, what do you like and dislike about it? I am kind of torn between this and the MRT Exhaust.

I don't own the GMPP exhaust I have the SOLO Mach XL, but listening and comparing these two I would say the MRT Exhaust.

Wow thats alota' buck for nada.

If your looking to replace these close to stock souding upgrades for a higher quality product (Magnaflow) and far better price than $7xx.xx please call 2 Tightwads Racing @ 210-954-4985 Owner: Al Tillman.

Sir,

I appreciate Owners of companies being in these forums, but not all exhausts systems are created equal. We have some members that are putting in a mother lode of work into getting the right sound for these V6 Camaros. Sometimes we are not looking for gains in power, it is about sound quality. I would rather buy a known quality exhaust then attempt to hatch something together only to have to do it over again.

Thank you for your thoughts and for being here listening to our needs.
