Cars & Coffee Carlsbad, CA
Just curious if anyone here goes to Cars and Coffee on Saturday mornings in Carlsbad. I saw a nice 45th Anniversary there today but didn't get the chance to meet the owner. There are some really nice F Bodies and vettes that regular the place plus a lot of Euros and a few Japaense cars.

It's been a long while since I've been. Might have to start back.

Really good people and people didn't seem set in their cliques like at normal car meets.

Yeah, when I would go it was with a Mustang guy. His 5.0 was blown and over 600RWHP. He was cool, and not stuck up...just liked talking cars.

Huh, I was talking with a guy yesterday who had a vette that used to have a blown 5.0. I wonder if it was the same guy (Marine mid to late 20's). Everyone there seemed the same way though and just liked talking cars no matter what make (the Audi guys seemed to stick to themselves though).

Sounds like him...his 5.0 was burgandy. Hadn't been in a while, so he may be in a Vette now. Audi...LoL = Euro Snob.

I used to go all the time, until I moved to NC recently. The owner of the 45th was probably Mark Castro. He's the father of a former Nat'l Guard guy that drove his 4th Gen Camaro off a cliff and died. He bought that car in memory of him. He's a part of SoCal Muscle and the club pitched in to buy him the exhaust that's on it. Sorry, I thought I needed to add a little back story.
As for CBad Cars, it's a good time. The best time to go is the last Saturday of the month, but it goes every Saturday. Check out their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/cbadcars Check it out! |

I didn't know about this... I'll have to check it out. What time do they meet?
Edit: Just saw the Facebook page... The time is 7am - 9am. Last edited by bandier; 06-11-2013 at 10:18 AM. Reason: added to it |
