I wouldn't worry about what the dyno says. They're all going to be different. Its will only get you upset and wondering wtf is wrong. I don't even bother looking at my sheet. I dynoed at 413 rwhp with the mods in my sig. 413 with my mods seemed way too low. But the before and after dyno showed I picked up 85 hp with the cam.

Did they drive it to verify the drivability or just dyno it? Numbers are low and the graph is not smooth at all. Take it back and tell them. Give them a chance to make it right.

I wouldn't waste money on a second tune or dyno. Go buy the throttle control it eliminates that sluggish feel. Your car will act more like a scalded cat! Best mod out there.

The big issue i see is the tuning shop didn't give him his baseline run so he has nothing to compare. That leads me to believe that either they didn't do a baseline and tuned it blindly. That would explain why the dyno graph isn't very smooth. Or the baseline was actually more powerful than the tune they put in so they didn't want to show it. It makes me wonder if they did an actual dyno tune for his car or just used a cookie cutter tune that works for cars with similar mods to his. Not showing the A/F ratios and a baseline to compare to on top of it having a wavy power curve make me wonder if they are trying to hide something.

The worst part is the power curve. Its wicked jumpy. Should be generally smooth like the above dyno graph. My V6 with full bolt ons and a tune is only around 50 WHP behind you, which does not make any sense.

Secondly, not having a baseline would make me uneasy. Not trying to scare ya, just push you to reconnect with the shop and see whats up. Good luck man!

I dyno'd 367/378 after headers/tune/cai/ptb. Maybe your tuner has a super conservative dyno?. My pre-tune numbers, same above mods and tuner, were 349/363. So IMO... its not THAT farfetched. Shrug.

I also noticed on his graph they used STD correction instead of SAE correction. Std normally gives higher numbers compared to SAE I believe.

Here are my graphs, sorry they are not great pictures. Mods are almost the same as the OP's just no PTB yet and I lost my pre mod graphs but was somewhere along the lines of low 319.8 or something. Post LT, and full 3" exhaust install and tune it came out to 367.68 RWHP and 387 ft-lbs torque on the tuners pretty stingy dyno. Oh and it is an L99 also.

I have a G5 CAI, exhaust cutouts and everything else is stock. I don't know if this is true or not but I was told the R6P (preproduction) SS cars have a little more HP than the actual production cars. I was an early order guy and got my Camaro in June 2009 which is why I have an R6P.

If someone can confirm or deny if this is true please comment.

What mods do you have to be pushing 298whp on a LLT
