niw you want to tape off your whole hood with drawn template on hood. I went and got a chalk marker(removable) and traced template (inside of template) and taped around it.

Also I forgot to mention I went and bought a 2X4 for hood can sit on and some blankets to protect engine

Now Cut!! The cutting was easy and smooth. It gets rough when you get to the braces in hood but other than that it was ok.

After your cut place extractor in place and install bolts and braces to hold in place.

In this pic you also see the aluminum plates I installed due to the sides being very flimsy and unstable. I went this route (recommended by member) because when I initially bolted the extractor in, the flemsyness of the hood was bending in from the stress of the extractor being held in. This solved that.

Now sit back and smile!!!

My line was a little off due to when taping down I didn't realize the tape moved the tip, but barely noticeable, I have her going in to body shop for some paint so I'll have them fix that

Does the engine cover still fit when you use the rain tray?

You know that is a good question, I should try and put it on and see. But looking at it this morning I don't think it will but I will check.

I ordered the wrap also but will attempt to wrap the extractor before I install it. I will post a pic when done and we can compare the look.
