Camaro & BMW same bolt pattern?
I see on Ebay that for 2012 Camaro BMW rims show up with 5x120 bolt pattern. My question is what is the offset I need to ensure that BMW rims will fit my Camaro.

depends on the spoke pattern, and the interference with the calipers.
everyone seems to think offset is a magic thing that will tell you if it will fit or not. not quite true. from one wheel to the next (style) one offset may work on one wheel, but not the other. offset is the space between the centerline of the wheel and the mounting surface (pad) of the wheel. it dictates where the edges of the wheel will sit in relation to the fender and the inside well area, but the spokes could still interfere with the calipers. usually around 30-32mm for the front and 34-38mm for the back seem to work, but again this varies from wheel design. |

the ASA AR1 18x9 specs as far as i could find;
Size: 18x9 Offset: 45mm Backspacing: 6.8" Bolt Pattern: 5-120 Size: 18x8 Offset: 40mm Backspacing: 6.1" Bolt Pattern: 5-120 may be a bit more offset than will work on the front? the GT06 or GT5 might be a better fit??? http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/resul...rSpecial=false probably need hub rings too.
