question on snow tires

Heather
Where did you get the snow tires from? We can't get them form the factory.

ugh why couldnt i have known you were driving through OKC!!!!!!:(

I had been agonizing over the RS vs. Polished wheels. Those last shots of the clean car in sunny Florida sealed the deal.

I love the way they seem to change color under various lighting conditions.

:hap pyanim:
I'm a little confused, because those are not the Midnight Silver wheels, or the polished wheels. I'm fairly certain those are the Sterling Silver painted aluminum wheels, standard on the SS, not available with RS package...

and wouldn't you know, OKC is on the way home...........just not sure if it will be via 40 or 35 from Fort Worth/Dallas. Leaving California probably Sunday, visiting friends in Tucson, then head for Michigan.

Pretty sure I am this close that I HAVE to go and see it, I mean who would pass up that opportunity?

Glad to hear to interior plastics have a nice soft touch. This thread is pretty relevant to me because if you change the exterior to RJT with CGM stripes this is exactly the car I'll be getting. Again, many thanks.

Tantalizer, this is a standard non-RS SS model, so these are indeed the silver painted 20in wheels.

What do you have to do to get ambient lighting for a 2LT? Does it come with it, or is it included in the RS package?

That is a 1SS model. The standard wheels on a 1SS are the "20 x 8-inch front and 20 x 9-inch rear flangeless, painted aluminum wheels with sterling silver finish" per the ordering guide.
