I got a killer deal on eBay on a used 2010 2ss/rs w/ sunroof m6 w around 9k. I only put about 2k miles on it when i was joking around with one of the local sales managers about a trade, and surprisingly he chose to take me up on it.... I ordered the car exactly how I wanted it at the end of June, and I got it last week.

When all was said and done i got a 2011 sim 2ss/rs w sunroof, iom seats, and polished wheels out the door for $3500 over what I paid for my 2010.

Honestly just the HUD alone was worth it to me.... Once 2SSRS gets this working you 2010 guys who install it are gonna love it!

I want hud and trading for it would be worth it but I am waiting to trade for a convertible 2SS/RS or even a convertible Z28!

Can't blame you a bit...I cant wait to see what the z28 costs. My wife wants her own camaro, so I might have a great excuse to get one.

Not to thread jack here... But the hud I am sure will be well worth it for anyone who follows Ofers lead here and retrofits one to a 2010... or gets one on a future model.

the 2011 hud is awesome. the one downside is that it doesn't display g-forces like the vette's hud. I was really hoping for that - it would help with learning the cars limits on the tracks.

by "look at it", you mean remove it from the car and test it in your setup, right??

My HUD now looks very distorted (lines bent and jagged) from 0 to 4k rpm on the tach display, all other images are very clear and sharp. I don't remember it looking like this b4. Anyone else see this ?
