Final run on race gas was 835 whp and 903 ft-lbs torque. As I said, do to the blower being maxed out, it makes gains on the bottom half of the pull but not much on top.

I suspect the cold temps contributed but I found that with the tune on the dyno video I can shift to 5th gear at 70-90 mph and mash the gas and it spins the tires going straight ahead, so now in 38 degree temps at least, unless I want to be sideways, no downshifting to pass.... it pulls pretty good in 6th gear anyway.

Finally mounted the drag radials

I have exactly 2 weeks until I get to make my first quarter mile pass on the new motor. I got out and mounted the 325 M&H drag radials and did some spirited driving. I also removed the rear seat and a weighed the car. I have no mats, no trunk carpet or extras in the trunk, no manuals no nothing in the car but ADM exhaust controller and line lock button. The only easy change left is put lighter wheels on the front. Fronts are still stock.

Drag radials comments, traction is night and day difference. I can dump the clutch and lay into it and will not sit and spin like the stock tires do, even though there is some wheel spin it is digging instead of letting the engine go free.

The tires feel wobbly above 160. With these I can easily get over 160 in a half and the tires are not as stable at speed as any of my other options.

The LCA bolt would make contact with the drivers side rim with spirited cornering. I did some grinding and then posted pictures. Seems to be fine now.

I can't wait to put it to the test in 2 weeks.

Awesome! You're going to love the traction.
I had to grind the head of the bolt on my LCA's as well. There is a chance the head of the bolt can turn so keep an eye on it. We need to find some long button head bolts to cure the issue for good.

Cant wait to hear some results. Good luck.

Those are the same rims & tires I have for my drag setup also. Good luck at the track Jess! I'll be at Sacramento Raceway the same weekend to test out the new tires & a few other changes Andy sent me.

Thanks Josh, good luck to you also. Did you register for the Texas mile?
