More boost out of a D1
I'm swapping out my cam and doing a LS3 conversion in 3 weeks, but I dont just want to stop there.. I want to get more boost out of my D1, but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what pulleys I need to make 12 psi of boost. I'm at 8 psi right now with 8 rib pulleys, what all do I need to change to make 12 PSI? Thanks for any help

What pulleys are you running g now? I'm at 12psi with my NOVI 1500 and can and will go further when I swap my cam.

Before intalling my cam I was running a 4.15 pulley making 11psi. The cam dropped my boost to 9.3 psi @ 6300 rpm. I am running a 4" blower pulley now and it's making 11 pounds @ 6400 rpm. Just remember centrifugal supercharger continue making boost the higher the rpms.

I'm cammed with a d1 and my 4.25 pulley makes about 9.3psi @ 7000 rpms. On cold days it will make 10+ psi

I have a forged ls3 with a d1, stock crank pulley.
Blower is making 10lbs of boost with a 3.9 pulley at 6700rpms |

With the race f series head units a 4.50 pulley is 13psi and 750rwhp.

You can hit 700 rwhp on a p-1 so a d-1sc is good to 900rwhp on a lt-1

Looking to make 10lbs or 700rwhp out of my d1sc. Have a boost cam, headers, and meth. Anybody know which pulley size would work?

If you the exact HP and boost call Procharger and ask them what pulley you will need they know better than anyone. Those are the two things that are need to know when it comes to pulley size.

I found the max of the F1-A recently. 17psi and 900 wheel with the 4.250 pulley. Installed the 4.0 pulley and it picked up 50hp until 6k rpm and nosed over do to being over spun. If I could find a 4.125 12 rib it may make a bit more. We took off the filter and installed a bell mouth and lost 3rwhp.
