Oh wow that looks great. Everything looks like it came together very nicely.

Time for a weekend party/BBQ.

We worked to day cleaning concrete residue off the garage, moving rock & dirt around evening the ground around the garage, & installed the fountain. I will be sore tomorrow! It has been a long time since I dug holes with a shovel, moved rocks & dirt around in a wheel barrow and evened soil with a rake. Just a few pics.

Awesome Ruby That really ties everything in and when that concrete gets completely white it will just enhance everything about the house and garage. Happy belated Cinco de Mayo

Yeah, it was a lot - 4 truck loads! And I am happy to report that we returned home today to a huge gullywasher & it is draining perfectly. The only glitch is with all the exposed dirt & debris the grate over the drain pipe was clogged. Even with it clogged & water overtoping the driveway it was still draining nicely over the area where the pipe is & coming nowhere near the garage. Mike grabbed the grate off the pipe & immediately the water started going through the pipe. At that point it stopped overtoping the driveway & there was a couple of inches remaining between the top of the water & the top edge of the concrete. Those guys did a great job! It is still raining but I tried to snap a couple of pics.

Concrete is sufficiently dry to drive on & Ruby finally gets to spend the night in her new house. I gave her a quick whore bath (waterless wash) so she would be presentable when I wake her up in the morning & let her take me into town to get her new shoes! Here are a few pics.

After we got home with Ruby's new wheels, there was yard work to do. Trees to plant, sod to lay down, grass to plant, tomatoes to plant..................It has been a busy day. And check out what brand new tires can do to pretty, white, brand new concrete. The Crossfire gets to go back under the carport since Camaros are at home. Plus, Mike's new mods laid out to install (& one of mine) & tomorrow's under the deck project (before). And good grief! Leave a couple of Camaros in a garage overnight & just look what happens! LOL

Worked most of the day but progress is slow. Replaced the liner under the deck, started topping it with rocks (boy is is going to to take a lot of rocks, 4 bags did not go very far), got & put together a bench & got a door mat & flower pots. It sure feels like we did much more than that sounds or looks like. Anyway, here are a few pics:

Looks great Ruby....The rain was actually a blessing for your concrete...it helps it cure slowly by keeping it cool. All concrete will crack but letting it cure slowly reduces the amount of cracking.

I am glad your project turned out well for you...looks like you had a bunch of great folks working for you.
