This was $75 to repair. I'd get it professionally done if I were you. It's a. Cheap repair

Me neither. I gave up and took it in for $125 and the repair looks great. Not sure if it is 100% match but I guess I won't know until I have all the wheels off to compare it to side by side.

I carry a black paint pen in the car. Just for those occasions. Good for a temp fix.

Elvira got a scratch on one shoe courtesy of letting a friend take her for a drive. I found out the make shiny black nail polish. I is still in the center console.

This is the cheapest and quickest fix!!! I keep a Permanent Sharpie in the console in the event I would scuff(just once) a rim. It's not a direct match(close), but only i can point out where it is, meaning its hard to tell. The Sharpie stays there thru rain and washing!! The one scuff I encountered is still covered with the Sharpie after 2.5 yrs!!

I'm getting ready to do mine. 3 of my rims were rashed when I got the car. 1 is kind of bad the other 2 is really minor. I have yet to hit anything but the person who owned the car before me was apparently not a very good driver or just didn't care.

It happens to the best of us, mine is 3 out 4 also. Thinking about having them repaired and repainted.

Repair person screwed up !!

I had some road rash on two wheels on the passage side. One wheel it was about 7 inches long, the other about 3 inches. I thought I was doing the wise thing by getting it repaired by a professional in business for 8 years. They repaired it but they used a flat black paint by mistake. It looks like the tech did not even realize and actually tried to over spray and blend it with the original paint. What the hell? Anyway, they say they will make it right but give them a few days to get a color match and they will call me.

Check out the attached photos. They took the rash gouges out but note the color difference in the paint. The original is shinny and textured differntly. Look close and you can see they over sprayed in flat black. Any suggestions? Should I make them paint all 4 wheels including the barrelstatus completely? What is reasonable? Except for the rash these wheels were perfect only 7000 miles.
