Is it possible to have an engine/trans tune in Sport Mode only?

Like the title says, is it possible to have the car keep its stock characteristics in D, but have the L99 and transmission tune, and AFM delete, kick in while in S (manual and auto modes)?

Engine, no. Trans and DoD, yes.
Then again there's ABSOLUTELY no reason to not have the engine "tuned" no matter what mode the trans is in.

Agree, but it's wifey's car, and she likes it the way it is . I was hoping to Have wife mode in D, and CLEAN mode in S. Will probably do it anyway, and get the tranny tuned for me in S mode only.

The Tunes if Done Properly are Seamless at normal driving she will enjoy the throttle response just like you would.

If She Like the car now She Will Love it with a JRE Tune.

If I'm not mistaken, anything done to the ECM (AFM delete for example) will take effect in every gear so you can't pick and choose for these.

However things done to the TCM (shift points, torque management, etc) can be adjusted for each gear.

Thanks all, JR, I'll probably be getting in touch with you at some point about this.
