A 2009 Saturn Vue is a pretty good bargain right now or it's twin a used Chevy Captiva. Both very good vehicles.
I have a 2008 Vue with 54,000 miles on it I gave 17K for last year. It has everything on it from Auto Climate Control to leather seats.

Find a good low mileage used one for about 14-16k.

Had mine for a couple of years and love it... The Camaro I ordered will be my toy.
And that's an awesome toy to have at your disposal!

I came from a 2008 Infiniti G35. Awesome car, 306 HP, very fast for its category and handles like its on rails. I looked at the CTS, Acura TL, Lexus IS350 and the G35 was better priced for what you got and I preferred the performance over the others. In my opinion, it was a better value. I had it for 4 years and loved every minute I had it. Ok, why did I get rid of it? It was just time for something faster and I’ve always loved the gen 5 Camaros, so I pulled the trigger. I do miss it sometimes, the 2 extra doors and bigger back seat were handy, but I still like the Camaro better.

I think the Buick Regal turbo looks pretty nice. It has 270 hp, plus you can get it with a 6 speed manual.

I'd say just go with the V6 altima or a max. same engine. FWD and a bit heavier, but hard to beat that VQ if your shopping for a 6

+1 for V6 Altima. My wife had a 2011 3.5SR coupe and it was an amazing car; the sedan has similar performance. 270 HP surprisingly smooth and powerful feeling CVT and for fun, sport mode with manual shift mode. Hers was FULLY loaded (heated leather, premium sound, sunroof, DVD, navigation, backup cam) and we got it for about the same price as an LS Camaro. It's on the heavy side for a FWD which actually made it pretty easy to drive in the snow, and it got pretty decent fuel economy (mid 20's while she had it).

I would love it if she still had that car, but she wanted something bigger, so we went with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Downgrade, IMO.

Nothing really set in stone. Hell like I said initially I'm just barely considering anything just wanted to start a discussion of whats out there in case it would be something I decide down the road. But something in the 300 ballpark unless it was a lot lighter. I just could never drive some 190 hp 4 banger.
