GM LOOK HERE. Ford is knocking on the v6's door

well hopefully with the release of some 2011 information saying the v6 will gain a bump in power over the camaro v6, you(GM) will answer our call and release some performance upgrades(tunes, supercharger kits etc etc.) and help us fight the wars on the streets(haha).

seriously though i think you all have a good potential in releasing the afformentioned parts for the v6..i know youd have me as a buyer as soon as something was released(besides an exhaust, headers or an intake..we have aftermarket for that).

please develop something for us!

Why would GMPP develop parts for a non performance car....when there is a performance version of the car?

I dont think many people buy v6 camaros with the intent of buying performance products. Maybe a few, but not enough to warrant R&D alone.

just as people tried to say that gm would never make a z28 with 550hp that would compete with the corvettes and be well into their price range(not done yet but still)...i just find it hard that gm wont offer something to compete with the growing v6 market and not offer us some kind of performance upgrade(especially when theres a large number of v6's on the road).

btw...non performance? whats non performance about it?

As difficult as it seems to believe, yes, V6 owners would indeed like to have a little bit of fun with their Camaros.

If you were interested then why did'nt you just buy the SS? I mean if you want header's, full exhaust, CAI and a tune you probably just bought one right there.

Because I didn't want a v8. Smaller motor better insurance...I could list a bunch of reasons

And having a V6 with a s/c or twin-turbos won't increase the insurance? Maybe not until you have a claim...

I say it like this the chances of you having engine problems and having to make a insurance claim is slim to none. They would not find out. Everything else on the car would be insured as if there wasn't any additions done to the car.
