My bet is Emblem Pros. Roger can make anything.

I spoke with Roger a month or so ago and they said that they are not licensed yet to reproduce the ZL1 logos. He is supposed to call when they get the license, but I haven't heard from him yet.

I am looking at a black z with black rims. I would want to black out all logos as well. I would find a reputable body shop and have them do it. I happen to have a close friend in the business and I would have him do it.

I got mine custom painted from Lupe (overhaulengines). I am waiting on Roger at Emblempros to get my custom badges done. Been talking to him for 4 months waiting for his licensing.

They are actually the ones for the trunk since those are flat. I thought they turned out nicely. I removed the ones from the hood and moved them to the fenders in the place of the original Camaro lettering.

Can you post a pic of the side? I removed the Camaro emblems from the fenders and I'm curious to see how the ZL1 badge looks on the fender.

The one I posted above is of the fender, but here's a wider shot:

It looks like it is supposed to be there.

How did you get the emblem to stick on there? I tried using double-sided tape but it was too thick and you could see it was there. Is there some kind of glue one can buy and what is it called?

The painted badges come with an adhesive backing, but on mine the paint kind of degraded it's sticking abilities. I ended up getting some 3M molding tape (which is similar what is used to hold the original badges on) that I got from AutoZone. It's very thin (accounrding to 3M's website .030" thick to be exact) and is super strong. I think the stuff I got was 3/8" wide, so some trimming to match the letters was required, but those things aren't coming off until I take them off!

I would just buy a new set of emblems and have them painted black. The emblems are going to look like black emblems on any of the other Camaro's in the effect they give the cars appearance.
