those all look nice, but do they serve a purpose? my only issue with them is hitting parking lot curbs with them. my 98 firebird had ground effects and it was constantly getting scraped, etc. even if i was careful, mechanics and service personnel would drive too far in a space and hit it. so, didnt know if these were the same problem

I have only scraped my t5 splitter once. I was turning into my driveway from the left and was going faster than normal. It hit a little on the left corner, I had taken the precaution of adding door edge guard to the bottom edge and it saved the splitter from being damaged. I am still very careful pulling int parking spaces with concrete stops or curbs.

Found a great deal on a GM GFX splitter...I bit the bullet and bought it. Will get it painted in a few weeks or so and then install it myself. Hope I like it lol.
