Swapped out my car battery for new 1 and it kept saying window Up/down, after new battery install.
Why is that? Never seen that before.

It’s the widow position relearn. It’s so the computer knows how far to drop and raise the windows when opening and closing the door.

This. It's for the window indexing when the door opens/closes

so how do you accomplish it?
hold the buttun up until its fully open and vice versa?

FYI; i slammed my car door with the battery disconnected and it sounded like someone threw a rock at the window and probly almost smashed it

Yes. Hold the down button while the car is running until it goes all the way down, hold for about 3 seconds, then hold it up until it gets all the way up and hold for about 3 seconds, then it should be good to go..

It should tell you on the DIC. I'm pretty sure it says something along the lines of roll driver side window down, then says all the way up. Then says the same for the passenger side.

Yes, exactly that... ^^ What a lot of guys don't do is "hold" the button when it gets either up or down, and then they say it didn't work..I know the first time I did it and didn't hold the button, it didn't work.. lol.
