Random grinding noise
So whenever I turn the motor over by hand, I can hear some grinding noise coming from the oil pan. It's totally at random and only seams to do it when I stop cranking for a few seconds and then start again. If you continually turn the motor over it doesn't do it. Also when it does grind, if you back up a little bit and then go forward again it doesn't grind again... Really confused on what it is... Here is a video... It happens at 6 seconds.

Also, when the motor is running I don't hear the same noise...

not sure if u r 6sp or auto,but if u have replaced the flywheel,you might have to put a shim on top of the starter

I was going to ask if it was something with the starter. like the previous person. I would start there.
