I have been considering installing the GMPP axle back exhaust or the Borla Type S axle back on my SS. I have the factory GFX installed, and there's the rub (literally). Will a 4" tip fit in the GFX opening?

Has anyone actually installed the GMPP axle back exhaust on a Camaro with the Factory GFX? I know the GMPP tips are 4" in diameter, while the stock tips are 3 3/4". The GFX opening appears to be large enough to accomodate the 4" tip, but would be real close. I already have the passenger side tip of the stock exhaust touching the trim and causing a vibration under certain circumstances, but a slight relocation of the muffler would fix that as the driver's side is OK. Adding 1/4" to tip diameter might make avoiding touching/vibration impossible.

Anyone who has actually attempted or accomplished this install?

the gmpp with the 4in tip will fit
i actually have a set of gmpp mufflers with the 4in tips that we took off a ss with the gfx
my customer is wanting to get rid of them if you are interested let me know

I put 4.5" tips in mine.
