Just installed a few goodies on #917
No pics...sorry. I went conservative with the upgrades but they should be worth 60-80rwhp. The mods are as follows:
ATI/Lingenfelter lower pulley with 9.55 ring...left top pulley stock. 50 mm lower idler. 160 thermostat NGK TR6 spark plugs ADM Race Air intake Lingenfelter/Rotofab Intercooler reservoir 90mm Throttle Body Tune by local dyno tuner this week. My test drive was uneventful and I was just checking for leaks, pulley wobble, etc. At grandma speeds and light throttle, no CEL yet.

553hp/563tq....sae corrected. actual on a hot day was 543/553. It is waaay stronger on the street. Feels like it should have from the factory with minimal mods.

Based on the fact that you have an auto Id say those mods were worth about 80rwhp. I see a lot of dyno #'s on here for stock auto's around the 470 range. Nice numbers btw!

SAE corrected stock was 478/481...so it was a nice jump. Feels great and the tires scream for mercy now. With the cooler weather, it should be running some decent times at the strip soon!

nice numbers......why did you go with a bigger lower pulley versus a smaller upper? Also, I was told when I do get ready to MOD, if I went to a 90mm TB to use an LS2 90mm TB instead of the LS3 90mm. You ever hear of that?

I went with the lower pulley because it was an easier swap and I didn't have to send out for a new snout etc. The 9.55 lower ring is close to the same boost as a 2.55 upper. Also, the ATI balancer is lighter than the stocker. I have never heard of a specific LS2 90mm TB but if they are both 90mm and bolt up just like stock with a "plug and play" wire connection, then they should perform identically. The listings on ebay say LS3 LS2 LS7 so maybe they all use the same part number. 90=90. I purchased the TB from ebay for $130ish. I felt like the more expensive choices (102mm etc) may not help much with a stock unported snout.

yes, of course. Traction is difficult without "sticky tires".

Tell me about it.
My trip to the track (before any mods) resulted in 13's with 2.7 - 2.8 60 fts...lol I just thought you seemed to have pretty good stock tire times, so it wasn't a huge stretch to the 11's. My car is a manual though and launch traction is a HUGE problem.

you must get drag radials or your track runs will be a bust...that I can tell you with certainty.
