Ok, you made me look!

Damn, one of them was totally missing! Must have blown off when I was driving the speed limit! You can't see it with the hood closed. (passenger side by the way).

I talked to the machine shop guy today...he said if the dealership sells them that it would be best to buy them there because it would cost around $150 for ONE. However, if we had enough people that needed them, the price would come down considerably.

I think I will just go to the dealer and buy some new ones and use rubber cement (or something similar) to keep them in place. Especially since you can't even see them unless the hood is open.

So, I was washing my car last weekend and noticed I had one missing. Checked the other one and it was broken too. I went to dealer today, they have to order them, but they are getting me some under warranty.

Must be a Texas thing.

I would think this would be a warranty issue.

I'll find out tomorrow... Just noticed that I'm missing the one on the driver's side.

I've got to take the car in anyhow and have them fish for a couple of spoiler nuts that fell off...Thank god I had them do that service update back in November that was supposed to include "invisible" LOCTITE on the studs...idiots! Guess they just tightened the nuts up and didn't use LOCTITE.

Picked them up today. they offered to install, but I saw no need to wait. Service person handed them to me and I popped them on before I left.

they were covered by warranty, so they didn't cost anything. (well, other than two round trips to dealer.) I hope this is the last set, but I would bet not. I only got 2K miles out of the last set.

Jeez, go in for something simple like a missing windshield wiper post cover and some spoiler nuts that fell off...8 days later, I get my car back with a new transmission. But at least they covered the wiper post cover under warranty.
