10 Spoke
Summer of 2006 I was driving my Cobalt SS down the road at a high rate of speed. Going into oncoming traffic to pass up a car I was hit on the drivers side after trying to manuver away from the car. Flipped the car ended up in the hospital and It's all history from there. I was devistated that my baby was gone. So I searched high and wide for another Black Cobalt SS at all the dealerships and online, etc. I went to Sport Cheverolet Where me and my Dad have bought all of our cars. Well I had only bought one and that didn't end well. Our Car Salesman Scott was running around with a bunch of customers and I was looking around the lot just checking everything out. Insurance had only given me 12,XXX for the car and nothing on the lot was in that price range. So I go over to the used car lot and there she was just sitting there staring at me. I ran over to Scott and told him I just found the car I wanted and he needed to get the keys. In a panicked frenzy we went out to the car and I had the best test drive of my life. He even let me get on it and get a little sideways. So I bought "10 Spoke" and have been driving her since January 2007.
In July 2010 The motor gave way , at 120556 miles I guess I had driven her into her grave. Every Friday and Saturday my friends and I would drag race and the fastest I had ever gotten with a stock car was 13.03. She booked for an 5-6-7-8 year old car. Now at 9 years old she has a completely rebuilt LS1 that is going through a lot of changes. Being in college there isn't an easy way to get pictures of my parts and of the cars so I will update this thread as soon as I get back to my house for the summer. Before the Motor blew Mods: Painted Front bumper GS Stripes SLP Smooth Bellow SLP Lid Repainted SS Rims Off brand Lightweight racing seats Removed spare/ jack Removed unused parts of wiring harness Removed front grill Removed Front Sway bar (only on drag days/ put it back for auto cross) UMI Motor Mounts and Tranny mount Nitto 555R drag radials. I actually have a huge list for the new motor, I'm aiming for a built rear end first, after having one thing blow up on me I don't want another thing breaking. But I want Precision race comp stg 2.5 5.3 heads, V3 cam 231/234.643/.598.111 with an ls7 lifter kit. I can't decide on Injectors or what type of flywheel and Converter combo I want tho. There are some Video's on my Youtube account but Camaro 5 doesn't condone street racing so if you want to check them out it's me vs a full bolt on Mustang. Lost to him once because of traffic and beat him from a roll. I go to Towson University MileMan

Tonight I ordered Stock headlights, Spohn Solid Motor Mounts, HID foglights, PaceSetter Headers and Y pipe combo, and am looking for some good subframe connectors and that should be good for this summer.
