God loves everybody

Everybody else hates

That is the problem with society (and I use that term loosly)

The problem with religion (anthiest included) is that each things their's is right and the only one that is right. All others go to hell or whatever.

The only thing that this country got right is that it made it clear that it would not be "forced" on its citizens. Didn't say that you couldn't practice it. If someone wants to put "in god we trust" on a government building then so be it. If they want to put "allah is great" then go for it. If the athiest want to put up "ignore these religious sayings" then do it. Just dont stand up and pretend that you are the only one with rights in this country to dictate what can and cannot be done.

Is this not a Camaro-car Forum? If you want an in depth discussion on atheism and religion, may I suggest the following sites?:

http://debunkingchristianity.blogspot.com/
http://www.samharris.org/forum/
http://richarddawkins.net/forum/

I come here because I want to talk cars, not politics, religion, and all the other hot topic buttons.

Sam Harris is excellent. But I must agree with irpq11 - this is "off-topic" forum-- a diversion when our camaro addiction overtakes us.

SO what? We're not stupid people, we have our own minds to make them. We can decide NOW (and not just live by hundreds years old rules) that it's not right to include religion in government.

Keep the church as far as freaking possible away from my state because the truth is it's just WRONG

Everything thus far posted in this thread is absolutely true. Even the contradicting bits. Also poster number.... lets say 5 is the ticket to eternal bliss. Worship him/her and talk in your mind (or out loud) to them they will always here you though they'll sometimes say no.This is part of their great plan which though it has been set by their all knowing wisdom you can still occasionally sway them if you nag hard enough. Also this post is the absolute truth. Some will try to say that it isn't, don't believe them they are agents of poster number... we'll go with 12... and only wish evil upon the world. Go forth and spread the good new about the forum....

^ Sounds stupid don't it.

Just to even things out a bit

Being an atheist is sweet. You don't have to have faith in anything without proof, live by rules other than the law.. etc

So if I understand this correctly, most religious people are depriving, stupid and unlucky? All religion eradicated? Strong words friend. Lets check the numbers according to wikipedia (by no means the definitive, but its quick!) almost 6.7 billion people on earth. Just the 4 major religions Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism on the low end make up over 4.5 billion of that population. that leaves 2.2 billion for the other smaller religions. 1 billion being secularism or atheism, antitheism is the same as both. IMO the non belief of God or gods is still a belief in something, classifying as a religion. There would be no one left. If a Christian were to say "eradicate all others that have not accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour" that would be considered hate speech. But since an antitheist said something to that effect, its freedom of speech, to which everyone is entitled.

Please don't be a stone all your life.
I pray the truth finds you quickly.

Topic # 2: Sport Bike riders

I am sure there are some of you here that have a sport bike or a old mans bike, jk. I don't know about all of you, but when I ride, it is helmet, jacket, gloves, and pants. I don't care how hot it is. If it is hot, instead of wearing a leather jacket get a textile jacket. If you still think its too hot to wear a jacket at all, then don't ride at all. Thats just one side of the story. The second side has to deal with how some ride sport bikes. A lot of people percieve sport bike riders as careless and dangerous, and thats not true, well for the vast majority at least. If you ever browse a sport bike forum, or ride with them, you will see quite a few have rules if you are going to ride with them. However, there are those that do give motorcycle guys a bad rep/ These guys are the guys that ride without a helmet, a jacket, and pants, but will wear gloves just to look cool. These guys will go screaming down the county roads doing 100mph+, these are the same people that have no respect, put their lifes in danger as well as your own. They cut throught traffic thinking they are unbreakable. Below is a video of what I mean. A bunch of wanna be gangster sport bike riders thinking they are cool. Now its your turn to sound off, what do you think?

that's from a porn site... they probably hired pros to go out with the girls so the could make a video to get more clicks to the site.

Though i do agree with you that some people do go a bit too far when on their bikes, i almost made a guy a stain the other day while driving home cause he passed me on a two lane street in my lane. Had i not been paying special attention to him (bro, sis and a few good friends all ride) someone would've been smeared across the road. No helmet and just a wife beater and board shorts.

Didnt see anything that said it was from a porn site, but my point with posting the vid was to show the sheer ignorance of riders, and passengers. It sounds terrible, but with these kinda people you hope they go down hard enough to teach them a lesson. When you ride something that wieghts less than 1000lbs, and something that can do 0-100 in under 7 seconds in most cases ( theres a few that do it closer to rly high 4s and low 5s), and top out around 190mph, its just not a "toy."
