All,

When you're out enjoying the Independence Day weekend with your families, having burgers and dogs, driving your new Camaros, watching fireworks, etc. please remember WHY we have this day.

Were it not for the Noble sacrifice made by a few men those many years ago, this Great Nation would not be here, and Freedom would suffer.

The ultimate price was paid.

This day is a celebration of Freedom that was bought for us with that most precious of gifts, American lives.

These few videos I've selected below pay homage to our Great Nation.

Very Fourth of July the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association has an empty table and chair at their Banquet to remember their fallen comrades. On the table is an empty glass turned upside down because they can not join us in our toast. A plate holds a slice of lemon for their loss is bittersweet. A single red rose symbolizes the blood they spilled for their country. This ceremony helps me remember my fellow veterans and all veterans who have given their lives for our country in all wars even the unpopular ones.
