I was thinking about buying this laptop during this special I have saved enough to also afford about $150 dollars in upgrades and I don't know what I should buy and the battery won't be a problem.

For that cash you can get a Refurbish MacBook Pro.

Much better laptop IMO.
The Alienware comes with Windows 7 Home (nuff said)

And if Windows is important for you, you can always run windows on the MAC.

I've found http://forum.notebookreview.com/ a good resource for researching various laptop models. It help me in deciding on an Asus G73JW purchased from www.powernotebooks.com. I was very pleased with the reseller and so far happy with my laptop.

Actually I have a Mac right now and was going to run mac software on that instead. The laptop I have my cats like using a scartching post and it shows a lot on the metal

. I like the laptop it is big but it really easy for me to use and plus the warranty I will be getting it will help a lot.
Another main reason I am getting Alienware I get a discount
