I raced a '10 Z06 from a 30mph roll and he absolutely destroyed me! All he has is a cam, heads, headers, and exhaust... I mean it was so bad you couldn't even compare a car length it would be more like several semi truck lengths... I didn't realize zo6's we're that fast?

You wont be able to beat a stock Z06 so yeah, they are fast.

All he had? What else can he get besides FI?

That set up on a zo6 could be around 600 rwhp depending on build.

If you guys reversed the parts it would be a decent race (you full bolt on and h/c and him stock)...not even sure why you attempted it lol.

Yeah, a Z06 with heads, cam, and bolt ons is making serious HP numbers. That along with the fact it weighs 500 lbs less than a Camaro SS.

Stock z06's are a handful to drive. Heads/cam ZO6's are insane. The car is stupid light, the suspension works VERY well, and the aftermarket LS7 heads out there are making crazy numbers. Mast Black Label heads flow nearly 400cfm on the intake. You will be VERY hard pressed to catch a H/C Z06 unless you've 700rwhp. Even then, on the top end, the aero will let it walk away from you. Don't race a C5Z06 with your stock Camaro either, the result will be similar.

lol... I guess I just was curious because I've never seen a built zo6 run. I have to say they are no joke. One of my friends who has a vw gti with a cai and tune said he can run c5 z06, which I knew he was full of it when he can't even keep up with my stock 03 mustang gt...lol!

It is entertaining... Oh and there is a guy in town who has an '88 IROC with a 305 automatic. He has "fish stories" about how no one can run with him... He told us he could keep up with a Nissan GT-R, which is obviously not true.

that last part isnt true....I raced my buddy in his C5 Z stock for stock and we were dead even until 3rd gear and I slightly pulled ahead.
