Is the 2011 exhaust any different to the 2010. I went to a camaro club meet up last week, and a few of the member say my car sounded different than stock. One person said it has more rasp to it, another said its slightly louder and deeper to when there's was stock. Actually one person initially didn't believe I was stock and checked. The reason I'm asking is what if there is something wrong with my car like an exhaust leak, or mis-weld. Since there was no one with a stock car at the meet, I couldn't compare. Anyone with any ideas, I know the exhaust should be the same. I will say I do like the sound and doesn't sound like the complaints I see about stock exhaust being tame...

just took mine off today. Im pretty sure its the same as 2010. It is louder than I thought though. Ran my car on a dyno and was surprised at the sound. Still way to quiet for me. Ill post a video of my stock exhaust in a few min. Gotta upload it.

Just got my 2011 yesterday, and I noticed a few things other than the HUD. The exhaust does sound better. not sure why, but the green ratings for smog and global warming are better. They went from 1 and 4 to 4 and 6. So GM did something internally or there is a new standard. Also the front right passenger seat is a manual adjust for fore and aft. I am not sure if that was on 2010 2SS. Lastly, the On Star is only 6 months free instead of a year.

is that the factory exhaust tips also? those look like they have a rolled edge, all the 2010s are not, they just have a sliced cut to them. it does sound a hair louder than i remember

Its factory. they arent rolled and are slash cut

I called Onstar about that and ask why it wasn't a 1yr deal like the 2010's were , well they did not answer my question but they added 6 more months of Directions & Connections for free plus they also rolled over all my minutes from my old account from my traded in 2010 Camaro V6 RS for a total of 900 minutes ( 100 mins. free , 300 mins. for $9.99 and 500 mins. rolled over ) !

Im gonna call Onstar now , thats cool they did that , my wife got 100 extra minutes for free because the Onstar set up took to long on her 2010 malibu..........seems like a good company

its not louder... A ls3 are louder then l99s stock.. B in youtube videos depend on the camera on how good it sounds
