Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) will have a display at the Barrett-Jackson event being held next week at the Mandlay Bay in Las Vegas from Wednesday, October 7 through Saturday, October 10.

We invite all Camaro5.com members and Camaro enthusiasts to come and see our 2010 HPE700 Camaro which will have our Cam-Aero (tm) body system which consists of: Front splitter, side rocker pannels and rear diffuser.

Our first system has a hydro-carbon finish. We will unveil our first actual carbon fiber Cam-Aero kit at the SEMA show in about a month.

Please come by and take a look if you are at the Barrett-Jackson event!

Right off the bat noticed several differences between the artist rendering, and the actual pictured car.
1. No carbon fiber front splitter
2. No carbon fiber side rocker
3. No Corvette ZR1 wheels (just similar)
4. No black horizontal front grill

If you notice in the rendering, they used a ZR1 wheel, but they put the Hennessey log in the middle indicating they didn't plan on using the actual ZR1 wheel

I can't wait to see the final kit in person at SEMA!!!

Relax. This was just a teaser pic. The car will not be 100% completed until SEMA which is where it will have its official unveiling. The Cam-Aero body work is going on the car now.

The final car will look 95% like the rendering. Anytime we do a rendering it is an artist concept with our best guess estimate of what can be acheived. Once we get into the build we will find some minor things that may have to change in order to fit, perform better, vendor sourcing options, etc. So dont expect the HPE700 to look exactly like the rendering. Based on the way this project is coming together, I think final product is going to look better than the rendering!

Thank you all for your comments. We welcome critic's comments too as we are open to other opinions.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

I like this and have been looking forward to the body kit. i have waited purchasing from other vendors for similar items because of it. My only hope is that the price is reasonable. I don't know the last update on your CF wrapped package for the original body kit, but i seem to remember it was around 4 grand. I'm curious to see how this package prices out, but I am definitely going be keeping track. Can't wait to see the finished project.

The Hydro Carbon was 4k. This is REAL carbon going on this car.

Is there still going to be a cutout for the LS9 cover in the hood?
